One of ARCS' most successful drivers, Tom Sears has won in nearly every series he's contested full time. As part of Team Outlaw, Tom Sears has won in all of ARCS' stock car divisions. He's a two time series champion of ARCS' Thursday Night Thunder series, and has won races in the A Squared Cup Series, and in the Midwest Barbeque Saturday Night Showdown.
Always a large stock car racing fan, Sears jumped into instant success in the ABN IndyARCS Series in 2022, starting off the year with a second place finish at Phoenix. Since then, Sears has finished in the top 10 all but twice all season long, earning the nickname "Captain Consistency" in addition to his long time nickname "Lurkin' Tom" due to his ability to close out races late after being relatively quiet all race long.
- Sears holds the IndyARCS record for longest top 10 finishing streak at 10 races. From Phoenix to Belle Isle in 2022, Sears finished 10th only once, and had an average finish of 7th.
- Sears, if trends currently stand, will become the first driver in both ABN, and in ARCS, to win a championship without winning a race. Sears' current best result in IndyARCS is 2nd, which he's accomplished three times.
