Arrowhead Racing began its journey as Cherokee GP in July 2014. Starting out as a team participating in sim-racing events on PlayStation's Gran Turismo titles, the team took early wins in open wheel series, and in endurance races, where they excelled in GT classes of racing. The team claimed the AUEC GT Endurance Championship crown in 2016, the team's largest success in its PlayStation-era of competition.
Moving to PC sim racing, with iRacing as the service of choice, the team quickly began to rise through the ranks, taking four wins in the Sidewinder IndyCar Series, with wins at Long Beach, Laguna Seca, Richmond, and Watkins Glen taking place in 2021 before the team joined ABN for 2022.
In 2022, the team went through a rebuilding process. The team began interchanging the Cherokee GP name with a new identity; Arrowhead Racing, beginning to re-establish itself as a force again. The team launched formally with a five car effort in the SCRL Truck Series, with Alyssa Pelletier-Sharpe, Kyle Taub, James Wiertsema, Cody McCorkle, and Robert Hill, Jr representing the team through the series' third season. The team's owner, Carmen Sienna, also returned to the track as a driver for the first time in 18 months, pledging her efforts for the ABN Super Sprint Championship, and the Champ Car Pre-Season Challenge, both of which beginning in November, 2022.
Entering 2023, the team has shrunk down comparatively. In the HTL Cup Series, the team is frontlined by Katelyn Heydt, who led the team to the Championship 4 in Season 3, while Carmen Sienna has been stationed alone for the team in the ABN series the team participates in.
